I am a Junior at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon. CA and currently have a 3.86 grade point average. I love sports and animals, so I am investigating careers in sports administration and veterinary sciences. I am interested in schools that can help me become prepared to excel at one of these professions. Although I am from California, my parents are from the Midwest. Over the years, I have traveled all over the country and have family and friends all over the U.S. Unlike a lot of Californians, I enjoy seasonal weather; that’s why I am open to going to school in or outside of California. I want to continue my soccer experience and be a strong contributor to a team in college. The mental and physical challenges of playing soccer help me become a better person. Growing up, I played three sports basketball, baseball and soccer. I did not begin playing competitive soccer until just before high school. I have played with San Ramon FC during that time and have moved up three competitive levels in those three years. I know that I have significantly more improvement potential as well. I work at soccer year-round, playing with San Ramon FC, Dougherty High School (where I have been a captain for 2 years), and training on my own to get better, faster. I am a versatile player with experience at forward, midfield and outside back. My strengths are speed, quickness, fitness, accuracy in passing/shooting, game awareness and spacing/positioning. I have played where coaches have needed me and enjoy all three positions. I am familiar with several systems playing in 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 and 3-4-3. My coaches have encouraged me to investigate playing at the next level. I am excited about finding a great program where I could contribute at the college level. My interests outside of school and soccer are playing baseball at my high school, crossfit, umpiring and hanging out with friends, family and my dog Charlie.
