Payton has played soccer every year since age 7, and always displayed leadership, ball skills, and energy, now as captain of his high school varsity team.

He has also excelled at cross country and track, with unmatched stamina on the soccer field. Not just a great athlete, he is at the top of his class academically.

Payton’s high school soccer team was a State of Florida Soccer Championships qualifier to the quarter finals last year, when as a tenth-grader he was a varsity starter in midfield. As top runner on his cross-country team, he qualified for the State of Florida Cross Country Championships this year, and finished in the top 19% of more than 230 runners.

Payton has volunteered for community service projects through his school outreach program. He became a licensed soccer referee, and officiated league games.
