Hello, my name is Marc Milano. Baseball has played a significant role in my life from a very young age. It has helped to shape me into the young man I am today, and the grown man I hope to be . Baseball has taught me many life lessons and these lessons are part of the reason why I aspire to play baseball at the collegiate level. The bonds I have made with coaches, teammates, parents, and even umpires are some of the most meaningful I’ve had in my life. Being a catcher has provided me with many leadership traits of which I am very proud. I pride myself on my “coach-ability” and ability to adapt to changes quickly and to make necessary adjustments. I am a disciplined worker and am ready to showcase my work ethic on the field, in the classroom and in life. I attend Briarcliff High School in New York, where I maintain a GPA of 3.8, while pushing myself in many AP and honors classes. I am an active member in my school, where I tutor younger students who are in need of extra help and support. I also give back to the game in the local baseball community by coaching younger children and teaching them about the game I know and love. My goal is to attend a college where I can continue to challenge myself on the field and in the classroom. Academics have always been a significant part of my life and will be as I progress. My ideal college fit includes a school that excels in both academics and baseball. Thank you.
